After heavy pressure mounting on FIFA, the troubled governing body is all set to unveil its full report about the controversial decision behind selecting Russia and Qatar the country where the next 2018 and the 2022 world cup will be held.

Russia and Qatar awarded 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups

The 25 member board in a meeting at Marrakech voted to publish a much more elaborate report as the report by Garcia met with much criticism as Garcia himself claimed his given report had been altered and misinterpreted by the board officials

It was on November when FIFA’s ethics judge Joachim Eckert demanded a 42 summarized  page of the 430 paged Garcia report. To the dismay of Garcia, the judge ruled out that the evidence presented was not strong enough to call for a fresh re opening of the bidding process

Following his controversial investigation report, Garcia resigned his post as FIFA chief investigator, mainly due to his work being suppressed and the lack of leadership by FIFA on such issues.

But Sepp Blater and the board members will only release the full report once the three FIFA ExCo members who accused by the ethic committee are done with their trials.

The report is however expected to be redacted in order to secure the identity of some people who are indirectly involved in this matter.

Before Garcia finished his 430 page report, he had spent 18 months on the case and questioned about 70 witnesses.

Losing for the fifth straight time in the Indian Super League, Northeast United had a bit of a bitter ending added to their Away loss to Mumbai City. from a game many had predicted to end in a draw by the 90th minute, the last few second’s action changed the whole game in an instance.

Eelco Schattorie, the Highlander’s coach was not impressed by the referees’ inaction on the field when John Mosquera, the Northeast United Forward man from Colombia was down with injury. But he his dismay went two fold when even the opposition side (Mumbai City FC) overlooked the incident. His dissapointment was understood when Lucian Goian took the opportunity and scored the winning goal in extra time, ending the score board with a 3-2 win.

When asked about the tension in the field, all Schattorie had to say was that it was not sporting from their side (Mumbai FC) and out of emotions blurted “Yeah yeah, they didn’t see the ball my A** “. He however later apologized about going to the Mumbai CIty team’s box and complaining but he stood affirm with his claim on the non sportsmanship act of the Mumbai team side

With another loss added to the sheet the former East Bengal coach was still optimistic about their next and final match for the season against Athletico Kolkata. Schattore explained how they opened up too much in the second half and gave away the ball one too many a time to the opposition

However the Dutchman was not sore with the loss and even congratulated the Mumbai team on their win in the Post match press conference.

Northeast United are facing rather a tough spot in the league as they are left with just one game to go whilst remaining at the bottom of the table managing to secure only 11 points so far. Northeast UTD FC despite their massive fan support haven’t really been able to shine on the main podium. Ever since it’s inception the club has never reached the top four spot of the table and with the season’s first ever league run, their luck seems to take another downfall.

Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho haven’t really had the friendliest of relations for some time now. The 24-year-old midfielder was seen as a promising prospect for the Red Devils after his re-entry to the club back in 2016, but with the season nearing its end, Mourinho losing his patience and Pogba yet to play his worth (£89.3 million) a dark cloud seems to loom over the fate of the player and his manager.

Some believe that it is Mourinho being typical, that is, fuming over Pogba’s lack of actions in the field. A few others claim Paul Pogba is not happy with the position the Portuguese want him to play which is the main reason why he is not able to play to his full potential. There are also wild claims that Real Madrid is showing their interest in Pogba and may offer a bid for the Frenchman during the coming Summer transfer season.

United fans, on the other hand, have had mixed reactions, some don’t really seem to mind Pogba moving to another club in the hopes of a better replacement while a few others are still optimistic about his future in the club
