However she is not the one holding the highest number of wins as this milestone of a record is only almost half of Navratilova’s 1442 match wins.
She is set to face the World No 3. Simona Halep of Romania in her semi finals match.
Simona was the last person to defeat Serena on October last year before the World No 1 began her unfathomable winning streak to this day.
