Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet to be launched in India by January

The Microsoft Surface Pro4 will be available in India by January next year, CEO Satya Nadella informed about the product in Mumbai. He was there to deliver keynote address for the inauguration of Microsoft powered conference ‘Future Unleashed: Accelerating India’. All developers, partners and representatives of various organisations were pleased by the announcement of Microsoft Surface Pro 4, a hybrid Ultrabook which might give tough competition to the MacBook Air.

The event was organised to celebrate 25 years of Microsoft in India. The company had also arranged the demo of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 at the venue. The most noticeable thing about the device was its ultra slim looks and light weight. With the type cover attached to the tablet, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 just weighs 786 grams. This makes it the lightest hybrid device in the market with top notch specifications.

The unique type cover now has plain mat finish on one side and full size chiclet keyboard on the other side. All keys are well managed in the small space.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Specifications: 

As far as specifications go, the Microsoft Surface Pro4 is little beast. There are multiple combinations of specifications available for the user. The demo model had Sky lake Intel Core i5-6300U chip with 4GB of RAM. The device comes with 128GB flash storage, which can be expanded via microSD card in Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

The screen has 2736 x 1824 pixel display with the pixel density of 267ppi.  The other features include Surface Pen, 3.5mm audio jack and USB 3.0.

The Windows 10 OS does fabulous job in both desktop and tablet modes. The Microsoft is expected to price the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 at Rs.60, 000 in India.
